"Be careful what you wish for coz you might just get it"...

marlon But the castaways didn't know what to wish for in the first place. Again, the scene stealer of the show is no other than Marlon. Knowing that ex-Jarakays days on the island are numbered, he is cruising over Rob - warning him that when all that remains are former Naak tribemates, all the backstabbing would ensue. Marlon is now on his personal quest to shake the Naak solidarity.

"Kahit na gumawa ka ng pagtatraydor at kabulastugan, this is just a game. Gagawin mo to become the sole survivor..." - Marlon

burdadoThen came the reward challenge - an auction with several twists. The nine castaways are first grouped into three and each of them should outlast one another staying underwater. The longer they stay underwater, the more money they would get that would be eventually used for the auction.

The first group includes Cris, Zita and Kiko. Cris immediately surfaced, realizing that he had a bad or probably injured right ear and he wouldn't want to risk making it worse that could lead to his early exit. Zita and Kiko surface almost at the same time.

candy The second batch includes JC, Kaye and Marlon. JC stayed the longest underwater. The last batch include Vern, Cha and Rob. Rob, came out for air first while Vern stayed submerged the longest.

At the end, Vern got the most money (48,000 pesos); next si Zita, then Kiko, then JC. The bidding begins.

The items to bid for could be food, essentials, almost worthless stuff and there were mystery items that could be swapped like scrolls and worthless things as well.

First up is a chocolate cake. Zita got it for 9,500 pesos. Apparently, it is the most delicious food to bid for. Kaye was disappointed that she didn't bid for it when she was craving for sweets everyday. But eventually, she got a leche flan for 23 thousand.

Cris got a vanilla milk shake for 5k while Charisse got a clubhouse sandwich with chips for 8,500.bye She refused to swap it with a scroll, saying "I'm not a risktaker." Eventually, it was revealed the scroll could've given her the power to vote twice in the tribal council. Sayang!

Meanwhile Kiko swapped the sausage and crackers he bought for 32,500 for a few pieces of sampaloc. JC, on his first bid, got disposable(?) underwears for 5k, which, according to Paolo, he could share with the guys. Marlon and Rob didn't get to bid for any item.

But it was Vern (after getting the most money) who was out of luck with her bids. She first got a tooth brush and a tooth paste that she could take back to the camp for 16k but she swapped it with the mystery item, which happened to be half an apple. ("Parang toothbrush din to eh, " she quipped.) On her next bid, Vern got one heart-shaped candy, for like 20k++ outbidding Rob. Tough luck. ("Gusto ko nang umiyak"- Vern)

trip For the last item, JC poured all his money for the scroll, which he got for 40 thousand. (By the way, the bidders could borrow money from the others). And the prize was, JC gets to choose 3 castaways that he would bring along in a secret location outside the island.

Without hesitation, JC tagged Zita, Rob and Kiko... leaving Kaye and Cris behind with the ex-Jarakays. Kaye received a hug from Charisse. The four got to wear new identical shirts and left the island via a speedboad.
